Challenge 6: "Love" Someone You Need To Forgive
Do you need to forgive someone for hurting you? Today is the day to reconcile with that person. Keeping in those feelings hurts you and prevents you from being happy. It's also hard on your heart. Studies show that when we are holding onto resentment our blood pressure is higher, we are more stressed and we don’t sleep well. If you can forgive, you will do your heart a favor...literally!!
Here's How To Begin To Forgive:
Forgiveness doesn't mean you forget or trust that person again, it just allows you to let go of the burden that you've been carrying.
I also understand this is a process and doesn't usually happen overnight. But my hope is that with this challenge you can begin moving in the right direction of freeing yourself from the pain associated with unforgiving .
*DISCLAIMER: This is not an easy challenge but could be the MOST REWARDING of all challenges within the Humans Pursuit!!!

- In your journal, write a letter to the person you need to forgive.
- Share all your thoughts and feelings, how they hurt you and how that made you feel.
- At the end of the letter tell them you forgive them. You may not fully believe this yet, but it's a start. This isn't a letter you send, it's just the beginning of the healing process for you. You may have to write this letter again in order to heal and forgive fully.
